Grace and I were born in Scotland in the 1940s of an English mother and Scottish Father.I think for our parents, these were not easy times after the years of war and now the slow return to something near to normal life, still with shortages, rationing and low wages. However, our recollections are of a happy home where there was love, we had fun and our parents did their best for us.This is our story as we both remember it now after all these years.Grace and I have written our accounts separately and not conferred which becomes apparent when you read, as we often remember different things or the same things differently. This paperback edition is part one and two combined of our Kindle edition.
