Author Description

This book represents the story of the adaptation of Margaret Mitchell's novel. Taking as its theme the American Civil War and life in the Old South, the screen adaptation required 17 scriptwriters including F.Scott Fitzgerald. Extracts of screenplay from scenes never filmed are also included.
