Ayurveda is the medical system which promotes knowledge about the effect of everything existing in the universe with reference existing in the universe with reference to their qualities and pharmacological activities and whether beneficial acticities and whether beneficial to the life or otherwise. Durg or dravya being one of the requisites of treatment is considered to be genuine, not just by its identification but also by its availability in abundance, manifold activities and enabling the vaidyas to use it iln multiple dosage firns. Today, we need standardization of drugs and medicines to control and maintain their qualities in international market. The present book Phytochemicals; Potential Therapeutant for Critical Diseases Management is the compilation of papers, most of which dealt with the pharmacy and pharmaceutical aspects of the medicinal plants. Major focus is given on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of various drug plant.
