Contains three appendices to a report that identifies the air quality, health, and environmental benefits expected from implementation of proposed revisions to Ontario Regulation 308. The first appendix introduces the economic concepts and methods used to estimate the value of changes in social welfare due to changes in air quality. The second provides an overview of the economic sectors considered in the main report, including mining, food, metals, manufacturing, power generation, motor vehicle, chemical, and waste disposal industries. The third appendix contains detailed health and environmental effects profiles for 93 of the Regulation 308 contaminants. Where possible, exposure-response functions are calculated for well-researched pollutants such as sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide.
