Unable to do it alone, they put their trust in Everett, a foreigner and the only one willing to help a couple of kids with their crazy scheme. Everyone knows that dragons are blood-thirsty, man-eating monsters. Despite the dangers of looting a dragon’s hoard, the three adventurers escape, bags filled with gold and five sizeable gems. Everett dashes their hopes and turns traitorous, pilfering everything from the orphans except two gems. Feeling swindled and foolish, Holly and Ru still consider themselves lucky for that much. That is until they discover the awful truth: the gems are actually dragon eggs. What’s worse than having no money? Having no money and a handful of newly-hatched, ferocious beasts.
