The book is dedicated to The Dante Project, a collaboration between choreographer Wayne McGregor, composer Thomas Adès and artist Tacita Dean, staged at the Royal Opera House in London in October 2021.Based on Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy (1308-21), the ballet and Dean's designs formed three distinctive parts mirroring Dante's journey through the realms of the dead - Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.Published on occasion of the exhibition 'Tacita Dean', 9 Jul 2022 - 5 Feb 2023, Mudam Luxembourg - Musée d'Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean.English and French text.Tacita Dean was born in 1965 in Canterbury.
