These are the proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Machinery, Materials Science and Engineering Applications ( MMSE 2012 ) held on the 16 and 17th June, 2012, in Wuhan, China. The object was to strengthen national academic exchanges and cooperation in the field, to promote the rapid development of machinery, materials science and engineering application and to improve China's machinery more effectively.
