
Product Description Feminism has been the point of contention for the writers and thinkers of the world for quite a long time; consequently, a deluge of theories came in its support. They were encountered with the same propensity and fervour, and the world of literature became the breeding ground both in the East and the West; at the end of the tunnel, it collapsed. About the Author Gauri Shankar Jha, has to his credit MA in English & Hindi, LL.B. and PhD in American Literature (Fitzgerald). At present he is posted as Associate Professor, Dept. of English. R. F. Govt. College, Changlang (Arunachal Pradesh). He has a rich and varied experience of more than twenty-three years of teaching, research and supervising research scholars for doctoral works. He is widely published in national and international journals. He is Editor of international literary journals such as Reflections and The Critique; he is Member of the editorial board of international literary journals such as Pegasus, Titas, Creative Forum, etc. He is the Founder Secretary/President of Writers and Writings, a literary forum dedicated to creativity and criticism. There are ten books to his credit: Current Perspectives in Indian English Literature, The Indian Imagination of Jayanta Mahapatra, Indian English Poetry: Recent Explanations, Women Writers in English: A Comprehensive Study, A Profile of Tikhak Tangsa Tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, New Paradises: A Recent Visit to American Literature, Values and Ethics in the Works of E. M. Forster, Multiculturalism and Diaspora: The Fiction of Kamala Markandaya, Dimensions of Diasporic English Fiction and Hemingway, Fitzgerald and the Twenties; and other five books are under publication. His areas of interest are: American Literature and Indian Writing in English.
