Author Description

All the poems in this book Will appeal to people, far and wide; They cover every subject, Some, far too good to hide. I ve scoured the daily papers, Picking out items of news; Taken articles mentioned on radio, And on television reviews. They re interpreted into my own words, Though, I haven t dug too deep, Because some are far too serious, Enough to make a grown man weep. I ve selected some light-hearted bits, Mixed in with murders, and such; But, items that are political Are too boring for me to touch. I wanted the contents of this book To relate stories most have heard; But some of the obscure they may have missed, Some are absolutely absurd. I can t vouch for their validity, Or, how I ve expressed my views; But, I guess, IT MUST BE TRUE,......IT WAS IN THE NEWS!
