Review Eggbees Dream is an imaginary world that has all the elements of a classic fairy tale inhabited by cartoon characters. -- Susan Fraser, past editor of Canadian Children's Journal Product Description After seeing a star fall from the sky, young Eggbee meets his hero, Pouleteer, who asks Eggbee to help him rescue the turquoise tortoise from the Chicken Queen. From the Author "Cackleberries books are like having your favorite desert after eating all of your vegetables - each one's a special treat!" About the Author Joh Nichols was an avid comic book collector in her adolescence. I loved the adventures and fantasy worlds they explored - comics got me reading! Joh worked as a nurse for years, during which time she was part of a creative team designing and marketing board games (Bruce Lee Martial Arts Game, Robert Ludlums Game of Counter-Espionage). Recently, the opportunity arose for Joh to pursue her pet project, Cackleberries. She is currently working on the next books in the series. Ken Rolstons talents are in demand to design and paint murals as well as create distinct goalie masks and team logos. He's also an avid hockey player year round. Ken had the opportunity to attend Okanagan College where he obtained his diploma in Fine Arts in 1991. Currently Kens main focus has been to design everything cackleberry from books, posters and character cards, to stationary and the web site.
