This volume in memory of Prof. Shankar Prasad Tiwari, a famous pioneer in rock art research, cultural, geography, archaeology and natural history has research papers on rock art,Chalcolithic and Neolithic cultures in central India, numismatics, temple architecture, etc. A selection fo published and unpublished articles of Prof. Tiwari himself have also been included for the benefit of students and researchers. The interdisciplinary archaeological exploration on rock-art covered in this publication would be useful to scholars.
