
"In this 11th edition of the International Biennial of La Habana, participating artists (individual and collectives, Cuban and international) focused on the modified sceneries of contemporary art and their new meanings, as they perceive it and is percived by the institutions and the public. This edition analyses how the contemporary visual art productions are related with the social imaginary, this last concept defined as how the people imagined their social space, and how the collective cultural and historic references and symbolic dimensions are established through urban manifestations of site specific, time specific and public specific art. "Works shown in the public space have been the object of all intermediations. Locations have varied according to the needs of multiple discipline projects. The experiences part from hybrid knowledge and share the same ethical, philosophical and aesthetics concerns.
