Accompanying the second edition of Psychopathology and Psychotherapy, this 2-hour video tape employs actors to demonstrate a biopsychosocial approach. Viewers are taught to make a correct 5 axis DSM-IV diagnosis and learn how to create diagnostic, clinical and treatment formulations -- skills necessary for today's mental health practitioner. After an introductory discussion, the five vignettes explore client interviews with differing diagnoses. All disorders covered are defined as per the DSM-IV (American Psychiatric Association, 1994).The video package includes a study guide.
