Author Description

This is an improved and updated adaptation of a French officer's war diary in China in 1900, and edited in 1901, which I found torn up and thrown in the trash, the pages with the title and the name of the author or publisher are missing., but after reading it I was enthusiastic about its adventures and the vision of a China of the year 1900, seen from the perspective of a French colonialist invader. And so I decided to rewrite and update it. I don't know who the original author was, so I haven't been able to contact anyone for permission, but it is done with respect and the desire to show an almost unknown part of Chinese history, and the colonialist invasion from the perspective of a westerner from that distant time.
