Author Description

This book is a methods-oriented introduction to the field of industrial and organizational psychology organized around the major problems that must be dealt with when developing and maintaining an organization. It is intended for use as an introductory text for undergraduates and as an outline for a detailed examination of the field at the graduate level. It may also be useful to managers, personnel directors, applied psychologists, researchers, practitioners, and others who are already involved in some area of industrial/organizational psychology because it shows new ways to analyze and approach problems encountered in the work setting. The book is more easily understood if the reader has some elementary knowledge of statistics.
