Author Description

The New Pacific Series Reading and Comprehension Texts Book 1 consists of a variety of stories written by authors from the Pacific region covering a range of themes - true stories, adventure, horror - in both traditional and modern settings. At the end of each story there is a section titled Building on your Reading which consists of specific activities that allow students to respond and analyse texts as well as practise specific writing activities to further extend Language skills.These stories provide students with reading material that will capture their imagination and interest and encourage them to not only read to learn but also read for enjoyment and pleasure.
