The Robin Hood outlaw known as The Masked Rider had come to the gold-camp town of Whiskey Gulch disguised as Wayne Morgan, a rambling saddle tramp. About to rein up his cowpony, he noticed a man approaching him who looked mighty desperate. The Sacramento Trail would soon be drenched in blood.
