
The depletion of forests in developing countries hasbeen of increasing concern to policymakers over thepast 25 years. As society searches for ways toaddress climate change, deforestation has become acentral part of this discussion. This book focuses onthe causes of deforestation in common propertyforests in Mexico, presenting a detailed, empiricaleconomic analysis of forest loss in Mexico between1994 and 2000.
