This remains the only collection to bring together scholars from all foundational subjects, writing original papers from a number of feminist perspectives. The first edition of this book was very well received, enthusiastically reviewed and chapters within the book have been regularly cited in subsequent work. The second edition will not only update the existing chapters, but also include seven entirely new essays, written by eminent scholars, introducing each of the two papers in that area of law and giving a more precise context to scholarship in the particular field. The second edition will now take its place as part of the successful feminist perspectives on law series and will, without doubt, be a major contribution to feminist work in law. This new edition includes the addition of an introductory essay written for each section of the book by a prominent academic.
