Sala México is the exhibition gallery recently inaugurated in MARCO. "Revolution and Revelation" is the first exhibition of this project presenting artwork of individuals and collectives from Mexico. The exhibition covers the most important artistic movements of the first half of the 20th century, a productive period known as the "Mexican Renaissance". Includes works by noted artists such as: José María Velasco, Germán Gedovius, Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Carlos Mérida and María Izquierdo, along other names from diverse artistic expressions like: nationalism, symbolism, expressionism and landscaping.
