The Christie catalogue of Samuel Johnson's library, published two months after his death, can possibly "claim the distinction of being the worst book catalogue ever produced." This book, while it does not claim to be complete, rearranges the list alphabetically, organizes it into categories, and provides bibliographical information on the entries.
