Filled with color photographs of details of the masterpiece on the north wall of the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, a visitor's guide to Leonardo da Vinci's Last supper, or Cenacolo. The volume's first part reconstructs the painting's history and significance, while the last discusses the results of the restorations that have taken place from the eighteenth century to the completion of the most recent in 1999.
