Annie Newsome is engaged to a man she’s known for only a year. Her grandmother seems to love him but Annie isn’t so sure she does. Following an argument, she makes the decision to accept her mother’s invitation to come to her hometown of Magnolia, TX for the holidays. The town is planning a huge celebration called, A Horseshoe Christmas.Will the respite in Magnolia be enough to clear her head about some decisions she must make? Will it give closure to her regrets about being out of the country when her beloved grandparents died? Perhaps…or will new people and situations add confusion or clarity to her final decisions?
