The Asia-Europe Foundation launched its "Cultures & Civlilisation Dialogue" programme in Oct. 2003 with a focus on bringing leaders of opinion from civil society and government representatives together to discuss pertinent issues related to dhe two regions of Asia and Europe. This programme strove to promote understanding... The "Talks on the Hill" meeting series adopted a creal think-tank orientation that brings small groups of 12-14 prominent individuals from both regions to discuss and brainstorm issues leading to policy recommendation.
