Author Description

Each year since 1954, the Kendall Company has sponsored the ACS Award in Colloid and Surface Chemistry, which recognizes outstanding scientific contributions, originality and independence of thought, and technological impact. This volume presents articles or original manuscripts from each of the Kendall laureates from 1973 through 1990 in which they summarize and highlight their prize-winning research. As well as being individually significant, together these contributions chronicle the development of the field of colloid and surface chemistry.
