Written around 400 BCE, the philosophy of Tao Te Ching deals with the unfathomable nature of reality. Everything under heaven follows the Tao and can be studied through the Tao. While speed, strength, and clever techniques are useful in martial arts, to excel in the Internal methods, one must pay attention to what cannot be easily copied and observed. One must train their mind and body to reflect the Tao. The purpose of this book is to give you the keys to applying the Tao Te Ching to your Internal martial arts practice. Though highly philosophical, this book is also practical and applicable. This book is not a regurgitation of texts, but a distillation of my years of study and martial arts experience. You may agree with some of my ideas, or you may not; some you will not understand without deep contemplation. My goal is not to give you dogmas to adhere to, but to stimulate your thoughts so you can find your own truth, because everything you need, you already have.
