The questions in this book are based on actual data from students' practice tests on which questions students most often incorrectly answered: line reference questions. Line reference questions, or command of evidence questions, are paired question types. Line reference questions are paired with other types of questions, but you must find the proof for the paired question's answer in the line reference questions. These "two for oners" work together, so that if you get one, you can get the other. A student can improve on these types of questions by understanding the questions and answers' explanations, getting used to the type of question, and practicing. Approximately ten out of the SAT reading comprehension questions are line reference questions, which is 20% of the total reading comprehension questions on the SAT. Along with their paired questions, approximately 40%! That's a significant amount of questions to either get right or wrong.
