When Mabel Frye finds herself accused of murder, she does what any self-respecting woman would do, she sets out to find the realmurderer. It's too bad sexy detective Leo Watts keeps getting in her way. Wait, no, the sexy detective can absolutely get in her way, if you know what I mean. Except stubborn Leo refuses divulge any clues he's uncovered so she takes it upon herself to dig up her own. Mabel uses her knowledge of books and her instincts to track down the person who, rudely, framed her for murder.
