My twin sister and I were almost six years old, and Dad said we were big enough to walk the big paths in Stanley Park now. Little did I know how different the big trails would be and that the day was going to take an eerie turn into the unknown. The trees were bigger than I'd ever seen, and the paths were longer and more winding, darkened by the umbrella like treetops cutting off the warmth of the sun. The deeper we went into the forest, the darker and cooler it became, and I now wondered if we were ever going to find our way out.
