MAIN: A SOLDIER'S PLEA EDWARD JOHNIGAN BEY, aka JB or Main, is serving 3 LIFE sentences with the Michigan Dept of Corrections for contract killings. He refused an 8 year plea to testify against those who are alleged to have ordered the hits. Snitching was not an option. JB would rather die than betray the game and street code that he was raised by. His name remains respected and unblemished amongst those who live that life. JB's life began behind the 8-ball. He was born to a 15 year old mother who fell victim to the 1st wave of the crack epidemic. His father had been in and out of prison until he was murdered when JB was only 13. He was caught up in street life, and couldn't get loose. His life consistently got worse when his girl friend had an abortion, his lil brother was murdered, and one of his most trusted friends turned state's evidence on him.
