Mysterious government agencies want to revive the Seethe and Halcyon experiments, and Dr. Alexis Morgan suspects presidential candidate and U.S. Sen. Daniel Burchfield of a power play to control the use of the drugs. Alexis has carried out secret research of her own in an attempt to save her husband, Mark, who is afflicted with unpredictable bouts of rage or paranoia.
