"The Art of Light and Space" is one of the very first collections of work by artists who use light and space as their medium. Jan Butterfield recorded these very perishable artworks and they offer a glimpse at how art can be created for the experience of it rather than for the selling of it. The book's cover and interior layout are by graphic designer Scott Santoro of Worksight.
