This assessment examines the hazards, risks and controls relating to Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) personnel working on or near ice and unstable ground (including sand, mud, gravel, earth, slurry and food substances such as rice, grain or flour). Other unstable structures will include collapsed structures involving rubble and debris. It details the significant hazards and risks and key control measures including specialist assistance and equipment.
