This final volume of John Haley and Terry Felton's in-depth history begins in 1967 when Romford FC are Southern League champions with high hopes of election to the Football League. Yet the club's fortunes rapidly decline. Forced to sell their Brooklands stadium, they spend a season with no home, cease playing in 1978, and three years later their hopes of a new ground at Oldchurch Park are finally shattered.
