This book has been written by 17 educated, experienced members of the Saratoga, California Retirement Community. Recorded here are personal episodes from the past, true stories. These recount the wave of human life from humor to trajedy, telling tales of peacetime and war in the Armed Services, medical missionary work around the world, an encounter with Willie Sutton, the bank robber, desegregation in southern schools, travel abroad, a salt mine trap, modeling in Manhattan and growing up in Brooklyn, coping with childhood polio, attending a unique private school, as well as the adoption and loss of a beloved pet wolf.
