Presents a workshop studying and documenting a deportation from Düsseldorf to Riga of 1,007 Jews on 11 December 1941, based on the testimony of a survivor, Hilde Sherman, and on the report of a Nazi commander, Paul Salitter, whose task was to accompany the transport. Contains an analysis of the testimony and report, as well as questions and instructions for discussion. Refers to the Daf-Ed project of Yad Vashem, which provides information on Holocaust victims. Includes, also, confidential Nazi documents and excerpts of memoirs of survivors.
