The provinces of Canada have given the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), the mandate to implement the School Achievement Indicators Program (SAIP) to assess student performance in mathematics, reading and writing, and science. With this study, the Ministry of Education of Québec report on Québec results, a comparison of Québec and Canadian results, a comparison of 1997 and 1993 result and finally, the pan-canadian and other studies.
