
The works of western artist Minerva Teichert have received increasing popular and critical acclaim in recent years. From her modest ranch house in a remote Wyoming town, Teichert procuded a prolific number of murals that celebrate the saga of western settlement and the heritage of her Mormon faith. Her dynamic style featuring loose brush strokes and her compelling subjects have won her a growing number of admirers. Teichert scholar Marian Wardle, Curator American Art at the Brigham Young University Museum of Art, has now prodced the first in-depth analysis of Teichert's mural production.
