Publication that reviews, in a critical way, the life and work of the artist Federico Silva in the prelude to the commemoration of the hundred years of his birth. Through the analysis of the thematic nuclei of the exhibition, which refer to the different stages of the artist's work, this catalog presents a retrospective of his work and the historical moment in which it develops. For this, important national scholars and an international researcher have been invited, who highlight the artistic importance of the artist in the Mexican plastic arts of the 20th and 21st centuries. This has been Federico Silva's largest retrospective comprising more than 150 pieces such as paintings, graphics, sculptures, kinetic devices, mobiles and films. The catalog presents a view of each of the pieces present in the exhibition, as well as the museographic arrangement in rooms specially designed to honor the master artist.
