Creativity has always intrigued human beings. A creative person does and does not belong to the general members of a community - so far s/he is unique is her/his thought process and abilities. A creative person daring to think and do differently, social history and anthropology tells us, is sometimes perceived as possessing mysterious characteristics by the general community and has been the recipient of awe, admiration, deification, suspicion, retaliation and systematic torture, depending upon the context and social demand of one's time. Modem psychology has been interested to understand creativity from its very inception. Indeed, the large literature on ability testing and individual difference has stemmed from man's attempt to understand the super-normal and sub-normal abilities.
