Product Description The twenty-two articles of Indian Poetry in English: In Search of Identity feature the new generation of poets, who, despite all challenges and controversies around, have withstood firmly to qualify as good poets. Here, each chosen poet is approached with freshness and sensitivity, and an attempt has been made to highlight the ways in which they have contributed to the current poetic trends. The meditative and reflective, discursive style of the articles makes the book richer. A major hope, in compiling these articles, has been to broaden the canvas of Indian English poetry criticism, and to help the interested researchers and scholars to enter the new poetic territory.
