Discover little known things about Harper Lee that are interesting. For example, after college, she moved to New York to write, but she was working dead-end jobs to pay the rent and not getting much writing done. Then, for Christmas, some friends of her gave her a year off to write. They covered all her expenses. It was during that year that she wrote "To Kill a Mockingbird."
