Building a Better World is a Role-Playing Game inspired, social justice themed curriculum written for Unitarian Universalist religious education programs and progressive community groups. Over 15 workshop sessions, participants will be guided through discussions and activities to build a world setting for a role-playing game. Topics covered include environment, geography, racism, ableism, gender identity, gender expression, economic justice, health and mortality, safe gaming practices, and more... The curriculum is system-agnostic and can be used for any role-playing game system, genre, or setting. It is designed to be used with ages 13 and up. The book is formatted for accessibility and ease of use, contains professional, engaging artwork, and has a guidebook for notes on the world your group creates.
