The Bible is a book of partnerships from Genesis to Revelation. One of the great uniqueness of the Christian faith is it's emphasis on relationships. While most other religions are ritual based, Christianity is relational based - starting with a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That's why every picture of the church in the Bible is a relational picture.Authentic missions is also about covenant relationships, first by building our personal relationship with Christ, and then with our national brothers and sisters. A Strategic paradigm needs to occur in the current thinking about global missions, so that instead of cross-cultural missionaries going "Over there" to accomplish projects, they first and for most focus on building relationships.
