This book discusses multiple key elements of the overseas Chinese language education for overseas children system, for example, organizational managements of Chinese schools, history, how to evaluate teaching materials, and methodologies. Around the world, there are two most challenging areas in overseas Chinese education, i.e. the selections of teaching materials and teaching methods. Most chapters in this book provide focused discussions based on firsthand experience in classroom teaching in Chinese schools, analysis of observations, extraction of data and theoretical analysis. It highlights and promotes innovations in advancing teaching materials and methods, especially for the overseas Chinese language education system.
