This conceptual framework is the basis for chapters on assessment, intervention research and efficacy evidence, and a detailed account of methods of intervention in the specific context of offender treatment. The authors also cover appropriate measures and research designs for evaluation of interventions with offenders, and relate these interventions to wider issues of social problems and public policy, which are likely to influence the development of knowledge and practice in dealing with anger assessment and treatment.
