The 21 papers in this anthology strive to develop concepts and terminology for criminal justice teaching and training in furtherance of the worldwide rule of law. The papers are organized into sections on: the role of the United Nations in developing international security and justice reforms; distance learning in international criminal justice teaching; teaching international criminal justice in real classrooms; training experiences in international criminal justice academies; agendas for international criminal justice teaching and training; and teaching and training experiences in international crime prevention. This is an excellent book. It gives students and educators a broad international context in which to better understand the importance of the promotion of human rights and the rule of law within criminal justice.
