The Light and the Lens teaches: - how revelation has been handed down in both written and unwritten form: Scripture and Tradition, - where we got the Bible, - how the covenants in the Old Testament lead us to the new and everlasting covenant of the New Testament--Jesus Christ, - about the role of Scripture in the Church and guidelines for sensible scripture reading, and that - Scripture is vital to our life as disciples of Jesus Christ.
