I was young and maybe a little blind to see the abuse that took place. I met someone who I thought was a good guy, but turns out I was wrong--very wrong. Some days I wish I had made better choices. However, in this case, even with my bad choices, I can learn to do better.This tale takes you back to 2008, when I left my husband, who I thought was toxic, for someone who I thought was a better choice. As it turns out, my husband wasn't the toxic one. Follow me on a journey through a part of my life I don't like to remember. This story is based on a true story. It isn't the happiest story, however, I'm hoping it will help open your eyes and help you stand your ground.
