This book identifies and documents good practices in gender mainstreaming during child labour interventions, policy, advocacy and research. The fight against child labour requires an enabling environment that assists practitioners in integrating gender in their activities and replicating good practices where appropriate. This report serves as a starting point for these endeavors. This report embraces issues such as trafficking, HIV/AIDS, football, domestic workers, commercial sexual exploitation, statistics, labour force survey, research methodologies, targeted programmes, non-formal education, stakeholder consultations and ILO/IPEC institutional procedures - offering a valuable tool for promoting gender equality while stimulating further research and action in the battle against child labour.
